Will Cicola - Baritone Sax
Will is a Seacoast-based woodwind specialist who has been performing and teaching professionally for over twenty years. While classically trained--he completed his Doctorate of Musical Arts in performance at Michigan State University in 2012. During his time in upstate New York and Michigan,
he performed and recorded with various ensembles incorporating elements of klezmer, jazz, R&B, rock, Arabic, Turkish, Brazilian, and both North and South Indian traditions.
Since moving to New Hampshire in 2021, he has played reeds in the pit orchestra at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre as well as a variety of ensembles throughout New England (including The Rockingham Groove, Foreside Funk, The Sultans, the Kit Demos Off/Axis Big Band,
and the Jack Welsh Big Band), and he recently joined the Portsmouth Music and Arts Center faculty as a Teaching Artist of Saxophone and Clarinet.
